This version of the assured shorthold tenancy agreement offers a secure form of letting agreement between landlord and tenant. Because of the high degree of security offered to landlords by assured shorthold tenancies, this concise form of agreement is often preferred by private landlords and tenants who find it easier to read and understand. This version is also particularly suitable for 'let only' situations. The amount of the Agreements includes a one-off fee of £75 (+VAT) for the actual agreement and an annual licence fee of £60 (+VAT). Important information about pricing: The annual licence runs from January to December and so the initial amount for the licence will be pro-rated according to the number of months left to run in the current calendar year. If you purchase the agreement during the last two months of the year, your licence will automatically run to December of the following year.
