Writing for Letting Update Journal & Rates

We encourage experienced members of the letting industry to share their experiences with other readers on the principle that knowledge is power, and a lesson learned in one situation could be invaluable to others who may encounter similar issues.

NB. We do not encourage 'advertorial' or articles from companies which directly promote products or services.

How to submit your articles

All letters or e-mails should be addressed to Laura Freeman, the Assistant Editor, and all articles must be submitted using The Letting Centre's 'Early Draft' template, which can be found on the Article Templates page.

There are three ways to submit your article:

Rates

In order to maintain the editorial integrity and independence of the Letting Update journal, we prefer to pay for articles written by external writers. Typically, writing rates vary between 15p and 20p per word depending on the article topic, content and any preliminary research that may need to be carried.

Writers are paid:

  • on publication of the Letting Update journal
  • on a per word basis (as published).
