HI
First time posting here, I'll try to brief, any advice is welcome, links would be appricated as well.

My mother, a private tenant, ( UK ), rented her property, unfurnished in July of 1962, there was to the best of my knowledge no written tenancy agreement but there is legal documentation to show the date when her tenancy started.

She remained a tenant of the above property untill her death in April 2006, under what rent act would my Mum come under for the purpose of me succeding to the tenancy?,  I need the pricise wording.

Next, whether her landlord accepts me as a tennant, ( which he isn't ), by succession,  am I right in thinking that the death of My Mother did not bring her tenancy to an end, what should her Landlord do to show this?

If I do succeed to my Mothers tenancy, what type of tennant do I become and under what act?

I'm sorry to labour a point, I'm not sure if it makes any diffrence to my questions above but please bear in mind, my Mum's tenancy started in 1962.
