Hi, had tenant from Dec 2006 on ASH, he is now on periodic. He missed rent in Sept, but payed late after I sent letter. I issued Section 21 on 21st October and again rent was missed on 22nd October. I gave notice and accessed the flat to find he has not been there for a while, all his personal belongings still there, bread and milk dated use bty 17th October. Tried refenece contacts for info but nothing returned. Just heard back from Sussex Police who say he will not be around for a few years! They cant tell me reason because of data protection.

What is my next step, Section 21 expires on 21st December 2007. What can I do with his personal belongings etc?

many thanks
Jimmy
