Hi Everyone

My partner and I are planning to move into our own place and we are viewing some properties tomorrow.  the Agency has said that as well as a month's deposit, we have to pay a £200 fee for a credit check and references check.  Is this normal?  The flats we are thining of moving in to are brand new Persimmon homes, so wondered if it hasd anything to do with that?

Please help as we are worried we will be ripped off!
