Do I have to pay tax on my letting income ?
Answer:
Rental income is taxable, and you would normally be taxed on this income at the basic rate . However, you eligibility to pay tax will depend on your personal financial circumstances (individuals can receive relief on the first portion of any income). Higher earners may be taxed at a higher rate depending on annual income.
