| We rent out a property which contains a portable gas heater. Does this appliance need a gas safety check ?

| The Gas Safety Policy Unit at the Health and Safety Executive have confirmed that all portable gas appliances or bottle-fed appliances do need certification under the Regulations. Portable or mobile gas appliances supplied from a cylinder do need to be included in the safety check but are exempted from other parts of the regulations.
