Question Title: Standard proceedings

Question:
186
What forms do I need to complete once the section 8 notice has expired?
Answer:
The procedure for this type of possession was changed in November 1993 to make it easier for people to initiate their own claims. The forms themselves are changed commencing 15th October 2001 in order that they should be easier to complete. The relevant forms are: - · Form N5 – Summons for possession of property · Form N119 – Particulars of claim for possession It is important to note that the new form N119 has a more extensive area of cover than its predecessor which was limited to rent arrears claims. The new form should be used for all particulars of claim. It comes with notes for guidance on completing the form which how it should be completed. These will be available through the local county court or on-line at www.hmcourts-service.gov.uk.
