Question Title: Standard possession procedure

Question:
179
How long would it normally take for the use of the standard possession procedure to give me possession of my property?
Answer:
It is important to stress that no two cases are the same and that it is important to contact your local county court to find out their particular situation. In the standard procedure, the landlord will ask the court to issue a summons on the tenant. The court will list the case for hearing, which can take up to 1-2 months for the case to be heard and issue the summons. Once the hearing is complete and, if successful, the possession will be awarded at the end of a 28 day period.
