Question Title: Notice by tenant

Question:
174
Does a tenant have to give me notice of whether he intends to stay or go at the end of a fixed term tenancy? After all I have to give them two months notice if I want to terminate.
Answer:
A tenant can simply vacate on the last day of the tenancy agreement. However, this problem can be dealt with quite simply. Some landlords insert a clause in the tenancy agreement, which requires that the tenant shall give the landlord notice if the tenant intends to vacate at the end of the term.
