Question Title: Student lettings
| Question: 159 |
| One of my landlords has been telling me that a student let is one of the mandatory grounds for possession in the Housing Act 1988. Is this true?
|
| Answer: |
| Not really is the short answer. Ground 4 is limited to tenancies granted to their students by specified educational institutions. It does not apply to private sector lettings to students.
