Question Title: Rent & deposits

Question:
153
I have a tenant who has become a housing benefit claimant. They make payments on a weekly rather than a monthly basis. Does this change the rent period in the tenancy agreement?
Answer:
No - the fact that the actual payments that you receive are different does not change the tenancy rent periods. This is important to remember if you need to serve notice. It is the tenancy rent periods that should be used not the actual rent payment periods
