I manage a flat owned by 2 investors lets call them A & B - they were business partners not a couple. `A' did a runner a year ago - I know that because i managed other flats owned by him solely and they were all reposessed and he is not contactable.

The remaining owner `B' now wants me just to pay him and not into a joint bank account which `A' cleared out. This seems the right thing to do for `B' but how do i cover my own back incase the other owner comes back in the future?.
