Unicef In 2011 The Letting Centre sponsored Katrina Ives £100 when she completed the London Marathon in aid of Unicef, a charity whos aim is to support and protect childrens rights around the world.

Macmillan Cancer Support Also in 2010, The Letting Centre sponsored Briggitta Paine £100 to completed a Danceathon, taking part in 10 dance classes in 10 hours.

Marie Curie Cancer Care In September 2010 the Letting Centre sponsored Miki Wells who completed the Ben Nevis Walk in aid of Marie Curie to help to continue caring for people with cancer and other terminal illnesses.

Sidmouth Living with Cancer Support Group Also in 2010, The Letting Centre donated money to the Sidmouth Living with Cancer Support Group, and also designed and produced their own leaflet. The Sidmouth Living with Cancer Support group has been in existence since 2001, and their aim to help and encourage new sufferers, as well as their carers, to be positive by introducing them to others so that they can enjoy the comradeship and share knowledge to help themselves.

Race for Life On 20 June 2010, Elaine Braidy (see image, left) completed the Race for Life, along with her mother, in 1 hour and 8 minutes. The Letting Centre helped sponsor Elaine, who, in total, raised £250.00. The Race for Life is Cancer Research UK's flagship event, with over 230 events taking place across the UK for women who walk, jog, and run 5k to raise money and help beat cancer.

Connect Centre In 2010, The Letting Centre donated £500 for the purchase of new IT equipment for the Elim Connect Centre in Wells, Somerset. The Connect Centre is a multi-purpose facility for the whole community, helping to develop effective relationships between people and organisations, in order to make a difference in and around Wells, in Somerset.

TaxPayers' Alliance In 2008, The Letting Centre donated £200 to the TaxPayers' Alliance, which was formed in 2004. The TaxPayers' Alliance campaigns for lower taxes and tax payers' rights. In 2011 they also donated £1000 to help towards campaigning for tax payers rights and fair taxes.

Exmouth Lifeboat Station Appeal In 2007, The Letting Centre chose to support our local RNLI by donating £1,000 towards the new boathouse. Once constructed, this will allow the all weather lifeboat to launch 24 hours a day, at all states of the tide. The station is situated on Queen's Drive, near to Maer Rocks in Exmouth and houses both the Mersey Class All Weather Lifeboat "Margaret Jean", with its carriage and tractor, and the D Class Inshore Lifeboat "George Bearman".

Devon Air Ambulance Also in 2006, The Letting Centre donated to the Devon Air Ambulance which provides an important and necessary service to the local community. The Devon Air Ambulance Trust is the charity which raises the funds to keep 2 emergency Air Ambulances flying, and is completely independent of central or local government. The Devon Air Ambulance service is free of charge and available to everyone. And in 2011 The Letting Centre donated £200 to the Devon Air Ambulance through the BBC Radio Devon Air Ambulance Appeal.

Sustrans Cycle Network In 2006, The Letting Centre donated to the Sustrans Cycle Network which carries out excellent work setting up local cycle routes that reduce traffic congestion and provide a sustainable transport network. Sustrans is the UK's leading sustainable transport charity and their vision is a world in which people choose to travel in ways that benefit their health and the environment. Every day they are working on practical, innovative ways of dealing with the transport challenges that affect us all.

Fairbridge In 2005, The Letting Centre donated £1000 to the national charity supporting young and vulnerable people, working against the challenges of inner-city life. Fairbridge works with people aged 13-25 giving them the motivation, self-confidence and skills they need to change their lives.

Guide Dogs for the Blind In 2004, The Letting Centre donated £1000 to the Guide Dogs for the Blind charity who provide mobility and freedom to blind and partially sighted people. This sum will help pay for the training of one new guide dog puppy.

Exe Sailing Club In 2003, The Letting Centre donated money to the Exe Sailing club (junior class support) to help young people improve their sailing skills and compete in national race events. The Club, situated in Exmouth close to the marina/harbour at the mouth of the beautiful Exe estuary, is the largest sailing club on the Exe and encourages all forms of sailing.

St. Joseph's Catholic Primary School In 2002, The Letting Centre donated money to St Joseph's Catholic Primary School in Exmouth. St Joseph's School was founded in 1904 by the Sisters of the Convent of the Holy Family. The school is a fully equipped seven-classroom primary school which occupies a pleasant site overlooking the Exe estuary.
